You know, I can always bring over my Fender Pro Reverb and play it REALLY, REALLY loud. The thing screams. And, yes it goes to 11. Hell, even a tiny practice amp would more than piss them off... Maybe you should learn yourself some songs and pick up a cheap-o guitar/amp combo. Or, better yet don't learn anything and put some earplugs in and mess around making horrible noises.
Ride the trainer at 2am.
remember even a small amount of carpeting makes a difference in noise.
My roller chatter a lot and I would put a board under on the living room carpet. The downstairs neighbor said that the noise wasn't bad at all and he was a very quite neighbor.
